Men's Health — FAQ
Do I need to explain my problem when booking?
No. Just book a slot. You can tell the doctor everything in the appointment.
Can I get a PSA test without seeing a GP first?
You can book a consultation and the doctor will arrange the PSA as part of your blood panel. Results are discussed directly with you.
Is erectile dysfunction something you can treat?
Yes. The doctor will assess and discuss treatment options including medication.
What if I need to see a urologist or specialist?
The doctor will arrange this as part of your appointment.
Is my appointment confidential?
Completely. Nothing is shared with your NHS GP without your consent.
How long will my appointment take?
All men's health consultations are 30 minutes as standard. This gives the doctor enough time to take a proper history and discuss everything you want to raise.
